These flutes are all hand carved out of old growth Western Red Cedar. Russ was guided through the process of hand carving Native Style flutes by Geoffery Evens, who was taught by a traditional flute maker. Russ believes that each flute has a spirit living in it . As he works with the wood, a relationship starts to develop. As the player starts to play the flute the relationship continues on. Feel Free to Ask Questions about the Process of flute Making.
